Poppie the Dog needs a home

Poppie is a huge love bug. She is a 3 year old Catahoula Leopard mix who weighs 65 pounds, Poppie loves people and his foster brother and sister. He loves to play, but is happy to snooze at your feet. He has a medium level of energy, Poppie loves a good tummy rub and a chew toy. Poppie is crate and house trained, and travels well in the car. He is a genuinely fantastic dog and would make just about anyone an excellent and loyal friend.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers and we require a home check for each of our adoptable pets prior to them going to their new homes, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family further than 60 miles from Charlotte is responsible for finding a representative of a rescue local to them that is willing to perform the home check. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as the application is approved.***
